PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
E2E is four-year partnership program of Swiss and Serbian governments, aiming to improve employability and employment of youth in Serbia. The program is implemented in five pilot municipalities – Kragujevac, Kruševac, Knjaževac, Novi Pazar and Pirot. Program goal is to test innovative models to increase youth employment through sustainable cooperation between industry, public sector, training providers and the community.

Big Ideas for New Businesses
2017 – 2018
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Project goal is to contribute to development of market economy in Serbia and improve conditions for participation of youth and women. In order to reach this goal, the program envisages establishment of pre-incubation mechanism to improve success chances of new business initiatives managed by youth and women, while also promoting the role of entrepreneurship and start-up initiatives as drivers of economic development.

Rehabilitation and renovation of the museum’ exhibition in the Norwegian house, Gornji Milanovac

2016 –
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Project goal is to develop new, alternative sources of funds for clients who don’t have access to traditional bank products. Target groups of this project are start-ups and social enterprises. Resource center for start-ups and established enterprises was developed within the program, as well as special credit line provided by Erste bank Serbia.

Post-flood technical and financial assistance for SMEs in Obrenovac
2014-2016
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Project goal was to secure technical and financial assistance for Obrenovac SMEEs which had suffered damages due to floods in May 2014. Project results are:
- 20 training for business and recovery plans development were organized, with the total of 427 participants,
- Grant-scheme was established and 174 grants for business development and recovery were distributed
- Help-desk and other technical support instruments were established.

We’re here together. European support for Roma inclusion
2014 – 2016
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
We’re here together – European support for Roma inclusion was EUR 4.8 million project, implemented by OSCE mission in Serbia and funded by European Union. Project goal was to support implementation of the Startegy for improvement of the position of Roma in the Republic of Serbia.
BIPS’s role was to train project beneficiaires in business planning, implement business assessment and provide recommentation for financial support. After the grants were distributed, BIPS organized assessment of clients’ needs regarding consultancy for business development and implemented consultancy and mentoring program in accordance with clients’ needs.

Honey production – Export chance for Branicevski district
2013 – 2014
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Project goal was to contribute to socio-economic development in Branicevski districts through revival of rural areas and introduction of honey production as an income generation activity. 111 bee-keepers who were awarded the total of 1,032 bee-hives to improve their production and 278 bee-keepers who participated in training. Export channel from Serbia to Norway in cooperation with Norway’s largest honey importer Honnig Centralen was established as part of the project.

Student entrepreneurship
2006-2014
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Program goal was to develop capacities for entrepreneurship and promote entrepreneurial spirit among secondary school students in Serbia. During the eight years, 212 secondary schools from the entire Serbia, 441 teachers and 6,456 students who formed 1,387 student companies participated in the program. Advocacy initiative to improve legal framework for entrepreneurial education was also launched during the program.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Project goal was to improve the work of civil society organizations working with vulnerable groups through establishment of work area and capacity building of employees. Within the project, Network of organization for social inclusion in Pozega – GASI was established, and six organizations were given office space in the building provided by the Municipality of Pozega.

Project goal was to increase capacities for entrepreneurship and promote entrepreneurial spirit among secondary school students in Serbia and Montenegro. 10 secondary schools from Serbia and Montenegro, 20 teachers and 220 students who formed 41 student companies participated in the project.

Fruits and berries
2010
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Danish program for development of fruit production in south Serbia, whose goal was to improve production, processing and sale of sourcherry, plum, cherry, strawberry, raspoberry and blueberry. The program was implemented in Nisavski, Toplicki, Jablanicki, Pcinjski and Pirotski dostrcits. General program goals were:
- Strengthening sustainable development of private sector,
- Increasing export and income,
- Job creation and migration reduction.
The main components of the program were capacity building and grants for development of value chains.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Project goal was to increase capacities of relevant stakeholders involved in youth entrepreneurship. 14 business support institutions, 21 trainers/consultants, 746 young entrepreneurs participated in the project. 42 trainings were organized, 152 companies established and 198 jobs created within 6 months after project completion.
